Hello, everyone, and a warm welcome to new followers! If you're an existing follower, you may have heard that I have a poem featured in the Fascination anthology (edited by Rhonda Parrish), that I offered a one-page TTRPG as a stretch goal for the anthology's Kickstarter, and that the stretch goal was met. Now that the anthology is being released, I'm making that game available for public purchase.

"Before the Dark Catches Us" is about venturing into a dangerous magical forest to barter for protection against the coming winter. Playing the game requires taking an IRL walk in the woods: by yourself, with pets, or with a group. And yes, there's a printer-friendly PDF along with the digital version and the plain text.

Paying attention to the flora and fauna around you will aid you in your quest, but encountering litter, hazards, or poorly marked trails can jeopardize your mission. If you're not careful, you could end up beset by monsters or forever trapped in the woods.
